Open Call for the Business Growth & Innovation Fund

Neath Port Talbot Council is inviting ambitious businesses to apply for capital grants of between £25,000 and £100,000 to help unlock investment, accelerate innovation, improve productivity, diversify into new markets and create sustainable jobs.
This competitive open call is aimed at businesses ready to invest in projects that will strengthen long-term resilience, enhance competitiveness and contribute to a more innovative, productive and sustainable local economy.
The Fund provides a significant opportunity for businesses with clear growth ambitions to bring forward investable projects that can deliver measurable economic impact.
- Grants available from £25,000 to £100,000
- Up to 70% of eligible capital costs
- Support for business growth, innovation, productivity and diversification
- Open to projects that create jobs and strengthen local economic resilience within key business sectors such as manufacturing; engineering; medtech; ICT, digital and technologies, construction and renewables.
- Particularly relevant to businesses operating in or moving into emerging markets such as floating offshore wind, tidal, nuclear, hydrogen production, aerospace, semi-conductor and those sectors linked to servicing the defence sector.
Applications must clearly demonstrate how the proposed project aligns with one or more of the Fund’s key themes, including innovation where relevant, and how it will support growth and development within the priority business sectors set out above.
