November 1, 2024

Blossom, a luxury hair and beauty salon based in Neath, was
awarded £35,342.12 in funding from the Place Making Grant to go toward turning
the unoccupied building into a Medi Spa.

The building works that the money has helped to fund include
electrics, plumbing, energy efficient air conditioning and heating, carpentry
work, security and fire safety systems along with signage.

The Place Making Grant is funded from the Welsh Government’s
Transforming Towns programme, to help support capital investment within town
centres. The programme is committed to addressing the decline in Welsh towns
and city centres, and to reinvent and reinvigorate them into places where
people want to spend their time.
